How you can help

In order to provide help and support for our beneficiaries, we struggle against a constant battle to generate sufficient income to cover our overheads.   That income is generated entirely from our investments and the fund raising opportunities listed below.

You can help us meet that challenge by committing to one or more of the following suggestions, either in a personal capacity or on behalf of the company for whom you work.

Annual Membership
We welcome annual membership from private individuals or on behalf of companies, large and small.  Read More...

Remember the Rainy Day Trust in your Will (Legacy)
When Mrs Fielder of Builders’ Merchants; Canvey Island Supply Co. died, she left her assets to The Fielder Charitable Trust which continued to support the Rainy Day Trust for many years after her passing.

You can also remember the charity, without incurring any immediate outlay to yourself, by leaving a Legacy to the Trust in your Will.  Read More...

Collection Tins
You will be surprised at how much you can raise by placing one or more of our collection tins beside each cash till in your premises. Collection tins are non invasive, and evry 6 months or so, you simply empty it and send us a cheque for the proceeds.  Read More...
