You can support your trade charity by donating £1 per week and becoming a member of the Rainy Day Trust and being kept informed of the Trust’s activities and various fund raising opportunities. Our members are very important in allowing us to care for more and more people within the industry who need our help.

Make a donation today
Making a donation, even for a small amount, helps us that little bit more. If it is a personal gift, we can claim Gift Aid, so the Government gives its bit too!

Make a donation via your payroll
You can donate to the Rainy Day Trust direct from your pay through payroll giving - the simplest and most tax effective way to give if you are employed or in a company pension scheme.

Payroll Giving is very flexible. You can change the amount or the charities you donate to at any time. Simply inform your salaries department.

The amount you give is deducted from your pay before tax is calculated, so every £1 donated will only cost you 80p. If you pay higher rate tax, £1 donated will cost you only 60p.

If your employer or company doesn't already have a payroll giving scheme call or e-mail us and we can help you set it up. Remember, if you move jobs you will need to set up payroll giving with your new employer.
