Grants

To apply for a Grant from the Rainy Day Trust you must have worked in any of the DIY, Hardware, Housewares, Ironmongery, Builders Merchants and Brushware industries - normally for at least ten years and also be able to justify you are in need of our help.

We can help with general financial assistance through our Annual Award or with One-Off grants towards a specific item (eg building repairs, new cooker).

Please complete the Form as fully as possible and give any more relevant information in a covering letter; the more information you let us have initially with particular reference to any specific assistance (for which we will require a copy of an estimate of the cost involved) the faster we will be able to come to a decision.
