This year the Rainy Day Trust is 175 years old. In that time, we’ve seen numerous name changes and trustees and staff have come and gone. But throughout it all, we’ve operated to the same ethos; that the beneficiary comes first. We exist purely to help people from the home improvement sector, but we can’t do that without the support of businesses in that very sector.

This year, many businesses have gone above and beyond their normal support to help us reach our goal of 175 people raising £175 each, so that we can keep doing what we do best – help people.

Firms large and small have either run events of their own under our #Challenge175 banner, or made a straight donation in support of our birthday, and to each and every one of them, we want to say a huge…
