The last few donations and bits of sponsorship from the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path Challenge are coming through and I wanted to say one final “Thank you!” to everyone that supported me during the walk. The various bits of me that broke over the 9 1/2 days are healing nicely and I’m actually starting to think about what to do next year.
In all, the walk raised a whopping £8,725 including gift aid which is pretty amazing. It would be absolutely incredible to crack the £9,000 mark, so if you thought about sponsoring, but never got around to it, the link is below.
Thanks again for all of your amazing support.
For The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path Challenge, the ‘challenger team’ will be walking 186 miles in 10 days, 5 days shorter than the normal recommended time, on a coastal path that has 35,000ft of climbs and descents! That’s the equivalent of climbing Everest! Our aims for the challenge are to raise awareness and funds for The Rainy Day Trust; an organisation that provides financial and other assistance to those who have previously worked in the home improvement industry including builders merchants, DIY, garden centres and housewares, but have fallen on hard times. All the money being raised will be spent in Wales to support the important projects we provide there. The accommodation for the event has been donated and is a four-bed house in Treffgarne, so we won’t be spending any money on accommodation.
Contact us for your company to sponsor the team at email@example.com or if you’d like to make a donation go to:
