Our long time supporters Stax Trade Centres and Workhouse Marketing organised a lively afternoon of karting at the Warrington Indoor Karting Centre on Sunday 10th June.  Of the many teams taking part Workhouse Marketing based in Ribchester, Ribble Valley won’t the overall team prize, with their team members also sweeping individual prizes for fastest lap and fastest average lap.

Fastest Woman was easily won by Lauren who was in fact the only woman taking part!  Lauren gave a very respectable above average performance in the field and paves the way for a stronger showing from the women next year.

The Bent Axle Award ward was won by James Lyons for tripping up before the racing started!

The day raised around £3,000 for the Rainy Day Trust and we thank everyone who took part and all sponsors.   The money will go towards the valuable work we are doing to support individuals and families in your sector.

A good time was had by all – we hope you enjoy the videos and pictures.

If you missed the event and would like to take part in the next event please watch this space or social media for announcements.
