What financial support is available?
You don’t have to be in crisis to reach out. Whatever you’re facing, we’re here.
What does our support look like?
If you work, or have worked, in the home improvement and home enhancement sector, we’re here when things get hard. We offer one-off crisis grants for essential needs; from rent or mortgage arrears and council tax to furniture, white goods, food vouchers, essential car repairs and training to help you get back on your feet.
Questions we get asked most
If you are currently working or have worked in the home improvement and home enhancement sector for at least one continuous year, you may be eligible for support.
There is no charge for our services or the help we provide
You must have worked in the sector for a minimum of one continuous year to be eligible.
Anyone who works, or has previously worked, in the home improvement or home enhancement sector. This includes roles in retail, manufacturing, distribution and trades connected to the industry.
Family members cannot apply directly, but in some circumstances, we can support a spouse or dependent. Any application must come through the person who works, or has worked, in the sector.
It’s a grant; there is nothing to pay back.
Our grants are one-off awards for essential needs, assessed on individual circumstances. There is no set amount, though most grants fall in the range of £200 – £300.
Yes. If you have worked in the sector at any point, you may still be eligible.
Our grants are intended as crisis support. We assess each application individually, but we will not accept more than one application from the same person within a 12-month period.

Apply for financial support
You don’t need to work for a partner organisation to apply, and if you’re a sole trader, you can also apply directly. Anyone who meets our eligibility criteria is welcome to get in touch.
