  • People we've helped

    Ann

Having worked in the ceramics industry for 19 years and being fiercely independent, Ann was quite distressed when just getting into the garden became impossible.

We were able to help support her by providing funds toward a wall and steps to improve her access.

  • People we've helped

    Kevin

Recovering from illness and being reintroduced to work through a phased program meant money was getting tight.

We provided a grant to support Kevin during these difficult times so he could concentrate on what mattered – his health and wellbeing.

  • People we've helped

    Mylene

Christmas was fast approaching and Mylene’s cooker broke down. When it was deemed unfit for use she didn’t know what to do for the family.

Having worked in the hardware industry she was eligible for a one off grant to help buy a new one.

  • People we've helped

    Margaret

When Margaret found out her insurance wouldn’t cover the extensive smoke damage from a hob accident, her 19 years of working in garden products manufacturing meant we could step in.

We were able to award her a grant to cover the cost of redecorating her kitchen.

  • People we've helped

    Doris

Doris’s late husband ran a hardware store for 30 years, which meant we could be there in her time of need.

We were there to help her with a grant to replace her draughty old windows in time for the winter.

  • People we've helped

    Neil

Having to care full-time for his wife when she fell ill, life and finances were getting tougher by the day.

Fortunately, Neil had worked for 9 years at a housewares retailer, so we could help with growing debts and provide grants to support the family.
